The card’s delightful illustration, "Given with a Ladle," was created by drawing by hand using digital illustration software.
The artwork began as a pencil sketch in which I wanted the fox to take center stage. At that moment, my own cheerful mood was reflected in the fox's expression. One of the most delightful details in the piece is the dandelion seed head, but also the old-fashioned wooden ladles that serve as flowers.
The artwork "Given with a Ladle" also holds great significance: it speaks to the fact that no one knows how much this character has received in life to be happy. For some, a little is a lot, and for others, a lot is a little.
